"My last massage was like a miracle! I have seen 4-5 massage therapists for my shoulder pain, without any results. {However,} I felt fantastic after the massage with you. Thank you!!! I am lucky to have found you." - R.S.

Michelle brings a knowing and intuitive skill to her practice as a massage therapist. Having trained in Oregon in 2005, she has a special interest in Chinese Medicine and the eastern philosophical system of health. With an understanding of the body's response to emotions and the environment, she keeps an awareness of the whole person and works to address underlying issues affecting overall health. Combined with Swedish deep tissue massage, she incorporates acupressure into her sessions, working with the body's pressure points and meridians to facilitate healing on many levels.
After practicing in Madison, Wisconsin for the past few years, Michelle has recently relocated to beautiful Whatcom County to continue her experience as a massage therapist. Drawn back to the northwest by a love of mountains, hiking and wild places, she makes her home in a simple yurt on land outside of town. Michelle also works as an organic farmer, tending to creatures and the land as a part of her daily rhythm.
"The best massage ever. Relaxed all my muscles and relaxed me too. The time flew by with great conversation with Michelle." - Nancy W.

As a Massage Practitioner, I endeavor to provide high quality massage to my clients. I intend to do so with respect for the individual and their unique body, personalizing my work in an effort to help them according to their need and to the best of my ability.
I offer Swedish massage for relaxation and wellness, deep tissue and treatment massage, and pregnancy massage.
I grew up here in beautiful Bellingham and graduated from Whatcom Community College with an Associate in Science Degree (with honors!) from the Massage Practitioner Program. I also currently work as an in-home caregiver, dance instructor, choreographer, performer, and mom.
I have a longstanding interest in health care and have been certified as both a Nursing Assistant and a Post-Partum Doula (support person).
I hope, with my various education and experience, to provide an integrated, individualized, and holistic massage experience for my clients.
Jill grew up in the Northwest and went to college at Western Washington University where she studied Outdoor Recreation. After several years pursuing her field of study, she knew it was time for a change of pace and headed to Ithaca, NY to attend massage school. In 2007 she graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage, and has been practicing massage therapy since then. Her experience has been varied, and she has had the opportunity to work in the spa industry, in medical massage, and private practice.
Jill has studied and practices a wide range of massage modalities, including myofascial release, polarity therapy, neuromuscular therapy, Swedish and deep tissue massage. She often combines these techniques depending on the needs of the client, and enjoys the variety that each session brings. Jill is passionate about helping people manage and reduce pain, and she frequently works with people who have been in car accidents, have been injured, are recovering from surgery, have a structural imbalance, or are just battling the aches and pains brought on by daily life. She believes that massage can be both effective from a treatment standpoint as well as relaxing and restorative.
When she’s not giving massage, Jill likes to receive it! She has in the past been an avid traveler, runner, canoeist, and backpacker, and in May 09 embarked on the adventure of motherhood. She continues to be an outdoor enthusiast and loves spending time with friends and family. She lives in Bellingham with her partner and son.
